Hello everyone,
I am a teacher from a suburban primary school in Subis, Sarawak. Upon the closure of schools, my pupils have been struggling to catch up with their classes, as most of them have limited access to device and the Internet.
Now, with the prolonged MCO, parents are struggling to make ends meet. What more to say, to provide devices for their children. Furthermore, most parents are not eligible to apply for the government-funded packages attributing mainly to their illiteracy, unapproved national ID card, and disconnectivity from the on-going issues.
Here, I would like to help to raise fund in order to buy tablets for my pupils. There are 17 of them altogether, but I would only need sufficient funds to provide for 10 of them, as the remaining pupils have their own devices.
I would like to appeal to members of the public as I believe education is crucial in helping them to transform their lives. I would not be attaching any pictures, respecting the privacy of my pupils.
